A user-friendly wizard guides you through all the necessary settings, starting with the definition of the classes and the segmentation of objects, to the selection of measurement parameters. Create simple measurement programs consisting of a single class or set up powerful measurement programs with multiple classes, which you can also arrange hierarchically (objects within objects) or use the predefined zone-of-influence* measurement program if you want to detect objects in the periphery of other objects. Flexibly choose between different classical and AI-based segmentation methods for each class. You can improve your results using AI models (semantic or instance segmentation) especially for datasets which are particularly difficult to segment. Simply load a model previously trained with the ZEN Toolkit AI in ZEN or ZEN core into the Image Analysis Wizard, or use DNNs trained on arivis Cloud. Create simple measurement programs consisting of a single class or set up powerful measurement programs with multiple classes, which you can also arrange hierarchically (objects within objects) or use the predefined zone-of-influence* measurement program if you want to detect objects in the periphery of other objects. Flexibly choose between different classical and AI-based segmentation methods for each class. You can improve your results using AI models (semantic or instance segmentation) especially for datasets which are particularly difficult to segment. This toolkit is "AI-ready", which means you can use any trained AI model in the analysis program without requiring another license. Simply load a model previously trained with the ZEN Toolkit AI in ZEN or ZEN core into the Image Analysis Wizard, or use DNNs trained on arivis Cloud. Subsequently, you can further refine the segmentation results, e.g., by using algorithms for object separation or by applying region filters, if necessary. To quantify the detected objects, a variety of measurement features are available, such as different geometrical (size, shape,...) or intensity features as well as user-defined measurement parameters*. After the analysis, the segmented images are displayed along with result tables and diagrams (e.g., scatterplot or heatmaps). Tables, diagrams, and images are linked so that you can interactively explore your results. You can also use the created image analysis programs for batch processing of multiple data sets.
